    How to Accept Criticism

  1. Step 1

Key point is to note if the criticism is legitimate. This only you can answer. Be honest with yourself and you'll know.

  2. Step 2

Our first instinct when criticized is to lash back or find fault in the person who is criticizing us. This is not the right course of action. If the criticism is correct and sincere this person is doing us a favor that will last a lifetime. Stop fighting and start learning.

  3. Step 3

Thank the person for bringing the problem to your attention and leave it at that. otherwise your friend will keep on pointing out your faults till the cows come home.
