1. Ask your pet's higher being for permission to perform the reiki session. Take a moment to meditate and notice whether your pet stays or leaves the room.

3. Stay focused and centered throughout the session so that your pet obtains the full benefits of the energy.

4. If the pet gets up and leaves, this is an indication that the animal is done with the session.
