No one is perfect, and everyone has an enemy or two, someone who for some reason dislikes you intensely. Here is how to handle these difficult people in your life.

Difficulty: Challenging
Instructions
  1. Step 1

It's important to pray for or send kind thoughts to your enemies. This might be just the thing they need to alleviate the anger that's inside.

  2. Step 2

Love them anyway by saying "hello" or talking to them even though your enemy may not be responsive. If you walk with love and act with love, they may eventually come around and forget everything that may have happened.

  3. Step 3

It might be wise to have a mediator. You may want to say positive things about your enemy and that you're willing to make amends, so that the mediator can convey this to your enemy.

  4. Step 4

You may want to write a letter stating who you really are and what you're about. You may also write that you never meant to do any kind of harm to them. They may not know the real you, so by doing this, they may think twice about neglecting you.

Tips & Warnings
  • Remember that not everyone is like you, so try as much as you can to be understanding.
  • Remember that the healing process takes time.
  • Always find ways to get your mind off your enemy.
  • Don't ever worry about what you should have done--the past is the past.
  • Don't ever try to stoop to their level should they get angry.
