Like most of us, we are all more than a little blue about Sunday evenings. It only means that Monday morning is right around the corner and back to reality. The end of a good weekend should cause for a bit of celebration. Don’t get sad that it’s over, the next weekend is not too far away. Sunday nights are not too late to stop from having fun. As long as you still have enough time to prepare yourself for work the next day, there’s nothing wrong with squeezing in a bit of happiness in those last hours of temporary freedom.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Friends or family
  • Good book
  • Journal
  • Movie
  1. Step 1

Have your friends or family over for a nice dessert. You don’t have to do anything elaborate, just enjoying each other’s company is what’s important.

  2. Step 2

If you are alone, enjoy a cup of tea with a good book. Nothing beats getting drawn into the characters of a story. You can travel to as far as the places the story takes you.

  3. Step 3

Watch a movie right before bed. One of the kind that you can really get into and not some sad depressing tear jerker. Watch a suspense or drama or an classic that you never found the time to watch.

  4. Step 4

Call a friend. Talk about your weekend and make plans to get together for the following weekend.

  5. Step 5

Take your dog for an extra long walk. Why not get in a little exercise for both of you?

  6. Step 6

Write in your journal. It helps to release any anxieties you have on paper.
