How to become Goth

Would you really want to be goth? Do you like to understand what it means to be Goth? The Goth culture started out in 80's and was influenced by bands like: Sisters of Mercy Siouxsie & the Banshees, The Cure, Dead Can Dance and also Adam and the Ants. Styles emerged from this time. There are many types of Goth such as Romantic Goth, Cyber Goth, Ether Goth, Perky Goth etc. To be Goth is to know the music, fashion, and enjoying being part of the Goth community. Now I will demonstrate how you too can become Goth.

   Gothic Lolita Fashion

   Learn to Dress Goth: There is many types of goth, choose the one you are more comfortable with being. There is Romantic goth dressed in corsets and lace, Cyber goth known for their futuristic look and dread falls. Choose what you will be more comfortable with and get into the Goth Fashion. 3. Learn about the Goth subculture by getting to know a Goth, going to a Goth club, looking up Goth art and artist. The Goth community is very interesting and you should have fun getting to know and understand the subculture.

• Be yourself!!! This world is full of sensory experiences and you are free to invite those experiences that satisfy you and avoid those that don't. If becoming goth does not suit you, do not pretend or force yourself to be so. Enjoy yourself and express yourself as you want the world to see you.
