Things You'll Need:
-
Step 1
CribBuying a crib is a matter that should be researched thoroughly. After all this will be the place your babies will spend time sleeping in. You want the crib to be safe and comfortable. Read all directions on how to assemble the crib and what size mattress to use.
-
Step 2
DiapersStock up on wipes and diapers. You will need a lot of them.
-
Step 3
StollerDo your research on which stroller would best fit your needs. Also don't forget you will need to buy two car seats that are compatible with your stroller. Normally you will find the same color and brand to match.
-
Step 4
BottlesBuy a few baby bottles. That way if you cannot feed both babies at once you can have someone else help you. Also if you are breast feeding select bottles that will mimic breast feeding.
-
Step 5
Manual PumpChoose a double pump that way you can get the pumping done in a small amount of time. You can use an electric one or manual it is your choice.
-
Step 6
FormulaIf you choose to use formula make sure you stock up! You may even need to supplement breast feeding with formula.
-
Step 7
Classic PoohPick a gender neutral nursery theme. Such as froggy tales or classic Winne the pooh. Or make up your own theme.
-
Step 8
BlanketBuy nice comfortable blankets to keep them cozy and warm.
-
Step 9
ClothesBuy a lot of onesies and t-shirts.
-
Step 10
No-one can tell you exactly how to prepare. But you can read books to help you on your journey. Twins are a wonderful gift. Enjoy them and have fun preparing to bring them into the world!

on 7/11/2009 Congratulations on your double blessing! My daughter had twins three years ago & was HUGE. She was on bed rest most of her pregnancy, but that just made the blessed event more blessed.
