When you glace over and there is no one sleeping next to you, you can be overcome with emotions. Whether it is a loss of a lover by death or break up it can be hard to get used to. It is hard to feel all alone in this world. Yet sometimes in relationships when someone is right there besides you, you can feel your loneliest moments.

Instructions

Difficulty: Challenging

Things You’ll Need:

  • Patience

Step1
So I think coping with the fact that no one is there beside you is all in how you look at it. If it was a break up realize the reason for the break up. Don't focus on the good times only because that will make it seem like it was perfect relationship and no one has that. Don't watch all the romantic movies and wish that you were in a relationship. Avoid them until you are feeling better.
Step2
f you are feeling empty bed syndrome from a death of a lover then it is part of the grieving process. It is hard to get over and chances are you never will. You need to give yourself time to overcome the loss. Try and spend a lot of time with close friends and family to help you get through this period.
Step3
If they are just on a vacation or business trip then just anticipate the reunion you two will have when they come home. It may be strange to not have them at home but realize that it could be worse. At least you can call them on the phone and let them know you love them and are thinking about them.
Step4
Empty bed syndrome is a very real and serious disorder that can lead to depression. So you should talk to someone to help you feel better. Although the only real situation that will help you right away is a reunion with the one you are missing. If that is not likely to happen then go out and meet people, you never know who you are going to meet.
