You can get a fried taste without all of the fat.

If you are trying to cut fat from your diet, cutting out fried foods is a good idea. But you may miss the flavor of fried foods. The good news is you can still get that fried taste without all of the fat by baking.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Non-stick cooking spray
  • A healthy oil such as canola or olive oil
  1. Step 1

Take the item you usually fry, such as chicken or fries and put it in a cooking pan with a couple of tablespoons of healthy oil and bake them until done. The food will be healthier, but will still taste great.

  2. Step 2

Instead of using butter to fry your grilled cheese sandwiches spray the bread and pan with non-stick cooking spray. Put it in the toaster oven. You can do this with other breads, too. It tastes the same with little or no fat.

  3. Step 3

Olive oil can be a healthy way to "fry" food while baking like in step one, but instead of adding it to the pan, coat the item in olive oil and then fry it. This keeps the oil's benefits from being destroyed by the heat.
