If you want a creative project that you can do at home with your children or by yourself, look no further than your pantry. Magnets made from dog biscuits are cute and easy to make. You can make a whole bunch of them in under an hour and for less than $5!

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Pieces of felt-in black, brown and red
  • Dry spaghetti
  • Box of dog biscuits
  • Magnet strip
  • Scissors and glue

Step1
Place a dog biscuit on a table. This will be the face and upper body of the dog. Turn the biscuit over and glue a piece of magnetic backing in the center.
Step2
Cut out small circles for eyes in your black felt fabric, a small red circle for a nose and mouth, and two eggplant-shaped pieces of brown felt for the ears. Glue the pieces on your dog biscuit to form the face.
Step3
Break the spaghetti pieces into "whiskers" and glue at an angle off the cheeks of the dog's face. Allow the magnet to dry overnight.

Tips & Warnings

  • Make different sized gift magnets and arrange them in a nicely wrapped box as a present. You can even wrap them in a dog biscuit box.
