How to Not Smell Like Smoke

If you're a smoker, you probably know that you often smell like smoke, even if you can't smell it yourself. Smoke smell can stick to your hair, your clothes, and even your body. This can be very disturbing to the non-smokers around you.
If you know how to not smell like smoke, then you'll be much more pleasant to be around.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • fresh air
  • breath mints
  • hand soap
  1. Step 1

Never ever smoke indoors. When you smoke indoors, the smoke has nowhere to go and so it has a greater chance of sticking to you.

  2. Step 2

After you've smoked (outside of course), try to go for a five minute walk. This is easy to do if you choose a smoking place that is a bit of a distance from the building you were in. By going for a walk, the fresh air can help to remove the smoke smell.

  3. Step 3

Use a breath mint immediately after smoking.

  4. Step 4

As soon as you are back inside, wash your hands well with soap. This will remove the smell of smoke from your hands.

Tips & Warnings
  • If you are smoking outside, the smell of smoke is strongest on your hands and breath. Make sure you take care of these two things quickly.
  • If you smoke in your car, drive a few extra minutes with the windows all the way down in order to "air out" the car.
