The Superbowl is fantastic and bittersweet for NFL fans everywhere. It is the culmination of the season but also the last game for a long time. Once the Superbowl ends, there is a long break before the NFL season starts again. It is a sad and lonely time for NFL fans but there are a few things you can do to deal with the loneliness.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderate

Step1
Review the season recap. Take time to think over the season. Read season recap columns and watch recap videos. Look at preseason predictions and compare them to how the season actually played out. Look for highlight reels of the season gone by.
Step2
Take a short break from all things football after the Superbowl is done. But after a few weeks off, go back to looking at your team and other teams' off-season moves. Watch for important off-season dates such as Free Agency and the Draft. Keep tabs on your team through its official website and unofficial blogs.
Step3
Follow the draft. The draft is a eagerly anticipated off-season event. It usually takes place at the end of April around the 26th. But in the weeks preceding, you'll find coverage of the rookie combine and mock drafts. They can be fascinating, especially if your team has a high pick.
Step4
Note any players being franchised by their teams at the end of February. And in March, remember that the free agent signings begin. These can be very interesting times in the NFL off-season. There is generally a lot of hype and rumors before any moves are made, so keep up to date.
Step5
Enjoy the rumors. The promise of your team making a big move can be thrilling, even if it doesn't happen. Yahoo Sports and ESPN are great sites for general rumors. Of course your team’s website is a great way to check out more official business.
Step6
Play fantasy football. Review the latest player rankings and mock drafts. Organize or join a league and prepare for your own draft date.
