Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Things You’ll Need:
- 1 pound of Ground Beef
- 1 diced Onion
- 1 Tblsp. diced fresh Jalapeno Pepper
- 1 15 ounce Can of Kidney Beans with the liquid
- 1 14.5 ounce can of diced Tomatoes
- 1 8 ounce can of Tomato sauce
- 1 Cup of water
- 1 Tblsp. of Apple Cider Vinegar
- 1 Tsp. Salt
- 1 Tsp. of Chili Powder
- 1/4 Tsp. of Garlic Powder
- 1 Bay leaf
- Cheddar cheese (optional)
Step1
Brown ground beef in a large sauce pan over medium heat. Then drain the fat.
Step2
Add the onions and the pepper and saute` for approx. 2 minutes.
Step3
Add any remaining ingredients (except for the cheese)and simmer for 1 hour ... stirring occasionally.
Step4
Serve one cup per bowl. This will make 4 servings. Garnish with diced onion, whole Jalapeno and Cheddar cheese on top if you'd like.
