How to make a "quickie" toasted cheese sandwich.

When you want something quick and nutritious to eat, but haven't got much time....try my husband's quickie toasted cheese sandwich. Let Mikey Do It!

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Two slices packaged American cheese
  • Two slices of bread, whole wheat preferred
  • Margarine (!) or butter (ugh)
  • Toaster

Step1
Put the two pieces of bread in the toaster.
Step2
Spread the margarine on one side each of the American cheese slices.
Step3
When the toast is ready, place one of the American cheese slices, margarine side down, on each piece.
Step4
Eat open face or put together for a quick sandwich to go.

Tips & Warnings

  • Add sliced tomato...
  • Microwave briefly to further melt the cheese...
