Dry curry is a dish that was often served to my Japanese students. It's good for when you want a taste of curry, but not the mess that comes with making a real curry.
This is how to make dry curry.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1T oil
  • 2 cups rice
  • 1 cup mixed vegetables
  • 1T curry powder
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • large fry pan
  1. Step 1

Heat the oil in the fry pan.

  2. Step 2

Add the rice and vegetables and toss to coat everything with the oil.

  3. Step 3

Sprinkle the curry and any desired salt and pepper over the mixture. Stir until coated. It should be yellowish in color.

  4. Step 4

Put onto a plate or bowl and enjoy!

on 9/11/2009 Ummm... you forgot the part about cooking it. As written, this looks like a method of serving raw rice and vegetables coated with hot oil. That would not be very appealing. You might want to rewrite this and include the entire cooking process.
