Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 2T oil
  • 1/2 cup mixed vegetables
  • ketchup
  • hot dog or ham (optional)
  • 1 egg
  • large fry pan
  • small fry pan
  1. Step 1

Heat 1T oil in the large fry pan.

  2. Step 2

If you are using meat, fry it in the large fry pan about 2 minutes.

  3. Step 3

Add the rice and vegetables and toss to coat everything with oil.

  4. Step 4

Squirt ketchup over the fried rice and stir to mix in. The color should be a nice light orange.

  5. Step 5

Heat the other tablespoon of oil in the small fry pan.

  6. Step 6

Crack the egg open into a bowl and stir it to mix the white and yolk. Pour into the small fry pan. Tilt the pan so that the egg forms a thin layer throughout.

  7. Step 7

When egg has cooked, put all of the rice on top of the egg.

  8. Step 8

Carefully, flip the rice/egg onto a plate so that the omlette is resting on top of the pile of rice. Enjoy!
