   Take digital photographs and upload your quality shots to stock photo sites, where members can download your photos for a fee. You'll receive a percentage of that fee from the hosting site. Amass a large collection, promote your pics, and you could have a nice stream of passive income each month.

   Write how-tos, articles, and blog posts for content sites that share revenue with the writers. Ideas include eHow, Xomba and Hub Pages (see links under Resources, below). The key is to write quality content, include good keywords, and promote your articles with social networking tools.

   Share your expertise with others and get paid at the same time. Just Answer is one such site; members offer to pay the experts to answer their questions on a variety of topics, including medical issues, relationships and homework.

   Online tutoring

   Become an online tutor. There are several very good websites dedicated to offering after-school tutoring assistance to students. If you are a teacher or a tutor, apply for a position. Your hourly wage will increase with experience. The application process is designed to weed out those unqualified, so be prepared to answer many academic questions.

5. Create an information product, such as an eBook, or software programs that meet a niche need, and provide them for sale and instant download upon payment. This has the potential to become a steady, somewhat passive income source over time, with huge money making potential.

   Try affiliate marketing. Crate a niche website or blog and include affiliate links to products you recommend. When your readers click on the links and buy or sign up, you get a percentage of the sale or a fee for the lead.
