How to Make Miniature Notepad Wedding Favors

Wouldn't you like to give your wedding guests a wedding favor other than the standard votive candle or after dinner mints? How giving them something they can use AFTER your wedding? Miniature Notepads make the perfect wedding favor, not only because you can personalize them however you choose, but your guests will actually use them!

Things You’ll Need:

• 1 Ream (500 sheets) Paper (8.5" x 11" white or pastel paper)
• Elmer's White Glue
• Water
• 1 Dixie Cup
• 1 Small Paint Brush
• 3 Bull Dog Clips

1. Using a paper cutter, cut each sheet of paper into quarters. Each piece should now measure 4.25" x 2.75". You should have 2,000 rectangles of paper. Place into printer.
2. Open your word processing program and set the page size to 4.25" x 2.75" and then add any graphic, word or names you'd like printed. Be sure the design is located only in the corners or at the top or bottom of the page. If you would like to place a design in the center of the page, lower it's opacity until it seems as though you can see through it. Print your design on the paper.
3. Separate the printed paper into sets of 20 (each notepad will have 20 sheets of paper, you can alter this however you like), make sure all of the edges are even, then secure one bulldog clip to each side, near the top, but make sure not to put it on the top.
4. Squeeze some glue (about the size of a quarter) into the Dixie cup, then add a couple drops of water. Stir with the paint brush until it's mixed well. Now, hold your notebook in the center, so the top edge is flat and start painting the glue on the top. You want to put a thick layer on, once it dries it will bound your notepad paper together. Add the third bull dog clip to the center of the top and move the clips from each side to the top as well. Let it dry in a standing position for about two hours then remove the clips.
   
   Repeat Step 4 with each stack of paper.
