I've been freelance writing for over 8 years now. I'm still learning something new to enhance my freelance writing skills. To enhance freelance writing skills, follow my advice. Both new and veteran writers should follow these tips.

1. Read often. The more you read the better writer you will become.

2. Studying the craft will enhance freelance writing skills.

3. Listen to what editors and others tell you when they provide criticism. Getting mad will only cause you to doubt yourself; but if you apply their suggestions, you'll learn from your mistakes.

4. Attend teleseminars and writing workshops related to the writing and publishing industry.

5. Search the Internet for free writing exercises and prompts. Writing exercises and prompts are a great way to enhance freelance writing skills.

6. Write as often as you can--even if it's only a few hundred words a day.

7. Sign up for writing courses.
