1. Figure out what type of face shape you have. Is it round, square, oval or heart shaped?

2. Once you decide on your face shape, thumb through some hair style magazines. Find people with similar face shapes as yours. See what types of hair styles they are showing off.

3. Considering that the bob cut is a very flattering style, you probably can't go wrong, unless you have a very round face. In that case, it will only emphasize the roundness even more.

4. If you want to go forward, make an appointment with your stylist and bring him or her some pictures of models you'd like your hair to resemble.

5. Take into consideration any advice your stylist may give you. They're the experts in this situation. They may advise that you tweak your desired style to best fit your face.
