How to Decorate a Room With a New York Yankees Theme

The New York Yankees are one of the most famous teams in all of sports. A fan of the Yankees would love to have a room in his house dedicated to his favorite team. Read on to learn how to decorate a room with a New York Yankees theme.

1. Paint the room in Yankee pinstripes. You can consult either a jersey or just search online in order to get the color and scheme correct.

2. Buy a replica championship banner and hang it from one of the walls of the room. The Yankees have won more World Series championships than any team by far. Hanging one of these replica banners is a great way to showcase the success the Yankees have enjoyed throughout the years.

3. Find a replica plaque of one of the retired Yankee greats and place it in the room. The original plaques, found at Monument Park, commemorate the careers of some of the greatest baseball players of all time. You can find replicas of these plaques online.

4. Search for a signed baseball from your favorite Yankee player. Place that ball in a frame and show it off in your room.
