How to Make a Warm and Wonderful Lemon Pudding Cake

Whoa ... fasten your seat belt .... this is an awesome dessert served warm or cold.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 2) boxes instant lemon pudding....the small 3.4 oz size
  • 1)box yellow cake mix
  • milk
  • water
  • eggs
  • oil
  • granulated sugar
  • powdered sugar
  • 13x9 in baking dish
  1. Step 1

    Pre-heat oven to: 350 and Prepare the yellow cake mix as usual and pour into 9x13 inch pan as you normally would....set it aside while you mix the pudding part of this dessert.

  2. Step 2

    In a separate bowl empty both boxes of pudding mix and 1/3 cup granulated sugar and mix well.

  3. Step 3

    Add 2 cups milk and 1 1/4 cups water to the dry pudding/granulated sugar mix and stir mixture till pudding and sugar are melted ... and mixture will be very thin.

  4. Step 4

    Pour this mixture over the cake you have there and bake it @ 350 for 1 hour or until wooden toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 20 min .... sprinkle top with powdered sugar and serve warm.

Tips & Warnings
  • Place foil under baking dish for baking since this cake tends to bubble over.
