Well, for those of you who live in Federal Housing, can agree with me that living in an apartment that you can't paint sucks. Well, a resolution to your decorum problem following this introduction

Difficulty: Moderately Challenging
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • liquid starch
  • ruler, or worker's measuring tape
  • fabric
  • wall papering supplies
  • a room to decorate
  1. Step 1

    Preparation:

Take measurements of the walls in the chosen room and note them down on a piece of paper. Divide the measurement into 1' widths for easier application. Go to the fabric store and order the fabric accoring to the measurements you have.

  2. Step 2

    Preparation of the room.

Clear out all furniture, pictures, and other items that will hender your progress. Prepare the walls and floor as if you are painting.

  3. Step 3

    Application:

Prepare your strips the same way for wall papering and apply accordingly.

  4. Step 4

Allow to dry for up to 1 day. Then replace all items into your finished room after cleanup

Tips & Warnings

on 2/7/2008 Excellent article. I wrote about upholstering a wall with fabric...not a lot of people use fabric on the wall but it can be lovely if done right :)
