That sucker better be over 4.0. If it isn't, make sure there is an increase every year, to show how you are improving.
Step2
SAT/ACT scores
Study for these tests, take practice tests and take the tests again to get the best scores. If one test is far better than the other, only send in that score.
Step3
Leadership
Yale wants young leaders of tomorrow. Become president of a club or captain of a team to show how you are a strong leader.
Step4
Talents
Yale likes diversity. If you have a unique and exceptional talent or hobby, make sure to include it in your application.
Step5
Essay
You need to write a great essay to really catch the reader. Yale accepts anywhere between 11 and 15% year to year, that's a lot of essays to skim through looking for someone who stands out.
Step6
Interview
Make sure in your interview to express how much you want to go to Harvard and how a Yale degree will help you reach your goals. It's also good to have goals beyond college and talk about how you plan to give back to the university community.
