Have you ever had a candle drip down onto your carpet? Here is an easy way to get that up.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • iron
  • towel or old rag

Step1
Turn your iron on to steam.
Step2
Place an old towel or rag over the hardended wax then run the iron over the towel several times. The wax will come up off of the rug and onto the towel.
Step3
Take a clean towel and rub the spot to make certain there is no more wax. Take the old towel or cloth and either throw away or run through the washer.

Tips & Warnings

  • I wouldn't recommend using a paper bag for 2 reasons.
  • 1) Paper has fibers in it and could scratch and possibly ruin your non-stick iron.
  • 2)The paper bag could catch fire if not careful.
