Step1
It is human nature to protect ourselves and focus on what others cannot do to disrupt our surroundings. Society needs to learn and practice the art of "foe" language for the most challenging situations. "Foe" language is a calming effect that is needed to change the atmosphere between you and others during a conflict.
Step2
Scientific studies have shown that elephants are able to distinguish the level of risk in humans by their scent as they come into contact with each other. Researchers added that all animals can categorize potential predators into subclasses based on their demeanor presented on their initial meeting.
Step3
People have reservations in individuals with authority because they fear that they will abused the power. The animosity is brewed from the majority's perception that leaders lack ethics, methods, and purpose in pursuing their goals. The majority suspect the worse out of their leaders during their time in office.
Step4
Teens and young adults have started MySpace accounts for the same reason: curiosity. Many users have face unexpected repercussions from their postings including harassment messages from other MySpace users. The problems occur with misinterpretations from their postings that were orginally posted in a humorous manner. Users see MySpace as an extension of instant messaging without realizing that the site is not as private as even a simple email.
Step5
Countries usually get a good indication of their enemies list by the diminishing numbers on their list of friends. Friends of countries are highly dependant on them contributing to their economy and helping them gain political influence worldwide. The relationship begins to deteriorate due to one country trying to break away from other's "sphere of influence" and embarked on their own independent political and economic success.Foes will begin a drumbeat of attacks, accusations and snide generalizations that will effect their citizens attitude toward the opposing country.
Step6
Comets and meteorites are both friends and foes to our planet. If they become too big then they become our foe. But certainly both were friends in the past, bringing water and organic building of life to our planet. They still can be our friend, as long as a meteorite does not destroy a home when it falls into our atmosphere.
Step7
One of the hardest decisions personally is deciding to begin a diet. As soon as diet has begun, you often will receive a call from a close friend to go out and grab dinner. Bad news, as the evening will turn into a night of bad choices and not watching what you eat. Good friends should suggest other activities besides a night of eating a large meal. Possibly taking a walk, jogging, or seeing a show are excellent alternatives to help support a friend's cause.
Step8
In the real world, we get into trouble, feel threatened, or are in danger a sight of police officer is a welcome relief. When we need help, we often turn to the folks in uniform, whether it is blue or green. The police and military are our friends. We want and need them to feel secure.
Step9
In the interactive video game world, you need to determine in a split second whether another character (avatar) encountered in game play is friend or foe. The hardest decision is to determine how this player can asset you along in the game besides shooting them. Ideally, players would like to have a symbol to expose friends or foes they come across in game action. Forming unlikely alliances is beneficial to all but you must be careful at all times. In the world of gaming, your friend one minute could turn into your enemy the next. Remember, the ultimate goal is mastering the game before others.
