How to Make a Paper Pendant

Making a paper pendant to go with your paper beads is fun and easy.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Scraps of paper
  • Small pictures from magazines
  • Multi-purpose glue
  • Cover of an old notebook
  • Scissors
  • Small craft paint brushes
  • Paper towels
  • Clear nail polish
  • Paper plates
  • Container of water

    How to Make a Paper Pendant

  1. Step 1

    Cut strips of paper that measure ΒΌ inches wide and 2 inches long.

  2. Step 2

    Glue together and lay aside.

  3. Step 3

    Cut shape out of notebook cover and lay aside.

  4. Step 4

    Choose two pictures or paper designs and cut them to fit your notebook pattern.

  5. Step 5

    Glue the ends of your two inch paper strip to each side of your notebook shape, leaving enough of the strip sticking up to run your bead string through.

  6. Step 6

    Glue the pictures or paper designs to each side of the notebook shape.

  7. Step 7

    Allow to dry completely.

  8. Step 8

    Apply three coats of clear nail polish to the pendant and bail, allowing each coat to dry completely before applying the next.

Tips & Warnings
  • Be sure to get the nail polish into all the nooks and crannies of your bail and pendant.
  • Stickers can also be used to decorate your pendant.
