Weddings can be extremely expensive, I've seen couples who have taken out loans and gone into debt when trying to plan the most beautiful wedding.
Here is how to keep your costs down.
When looking for venues, probably your biggest thing is think about season/month you want to get married in. The most expensive months to get married in are May-October. Some place may only consider May, June and July as the 'bride' season. Also when considering vendors keep this in mind as well. Some do give discounts in 'off months' as well. Quite rather, they'd rather have the business than not at all.
Step2
When comparing vendors you want to get a few quotes together, find someone you really like and feel comfortable with. Don't be afraid to negotiate prices. If someone likes you enough and really wants your business and wants you to recommend them, they may just take a step and match someone else's prices.
Step3
Our Invitations.
Do a lot of DIY (Do it yourself)! This can pay off in the end. As an example my fiance` and I went to an invitation place and we were given the quote of $350.00 for 50 invitations (includes rsvp cards, envelopes, etc)
We decided to do our own invitations and spent maybe $100.00 on them and they look just as good if not better than what we originally wanted.
Step4
Inside of the invitation
Relax, and start this process as soon as you can to make sure you have enough time to get what you want! :)
Tips & Warnings
