How to Make A Baby Footprint Poemthumbnail
A baby footprint poem will remind you of your child as an infant throughout the years.

A baby footprint poem describes a keepsake art project that combines a poem with photos of the baby's feet. The idea is to have a meaningful set of words next to a physical reminder of just how tiny the baby was when you had those thoughts. The project can be made with just a few crafts supplies.

Put 1/2 cup of water-based paint in a paint pan or a bowl. Avoid pastels. They do not show the details of the print as well as medium and darker colors.

      • 3

Put the baby in a high chair or a baby car seat where you have access to her feet.

      • 4

Dip a sponge into the paint. Use the sponge to gently dab the paint onto one of the baby's feet. Press the painted foot against the top half of the paper. The press should be firm enough to show some of the lines of the foot. Allow it to dry for a few minutes.

Wash the paint off the baby's foot with warm water. Repeat Step 4 with the other foot. Allow the paint on the paper to dry. then place it in a frame.

    Tips & Warnings
