Sweet and salty, soft and crisp... Ever wonder why opposite flavors and textures complement one another so well? Me too, and here's another tasty paradox for your palate: hot chocolate and ice cream. You'll love this yummy combination.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • a cup o' hot chocolate
  • ice cream

Step1
Prepare a mug of your favorite hot chocolate, good and hot.
Step2
Spoon a curl of ice cream into your mug. Allow to melt slightly, without stirring. The ice cream will bring the hot chocolate down to the perfect temperature for sipping.
Step3
Enjoy your hot chocolate float right away! The ice cream won't last long, but it tastes so good on top of the hot chocolate. Once it melts, it leaves a delicious creamy layer. Mmmmm...

Tips & Warnings

  • Try different flavors of ice cream, like Rocky Road, or Mint Chocolate!
