How to eat a bread roll, the etiquette way

Whenever I had gone to a restaurant in the past, I couldn't wait to attack the bread roll, so I used to cut open the bread roll and spread the butter on to it and eat it....wrong I was told it is not good etiquette to do this... and I went to a girls school...

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Bread roll
  • butter
  • knife
  1. Step 1

    Take the bread roll and break just a little off with your hands.

  2. Step 2

    Take knife and spread a little butter on to it.

  3. Step 3

    Eat by taking small bites.
    Continue breaking off small pieces at a time and spreading with the butter.
    That's etiquette......

Tips & Warnings
  • Never cut the bread roll with knife, only break a bit off with fingers...
