Make all Natural (and pretty) Scented Ornaments and Door hangers for any room of the house. These are all natural, with no harmful chemicals around the kids or pets. They will scent your home, office or any other space you need.

Aroma’s can lift our spirits, make us more productive, and even bring back wonderful memories. So why not have a few in each room?

Well now you can, and even create a few great memories and traditions of your own.
Here is a project that will show you how, and it's lot of fun for the entire family!

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 ½ Cups warm Water
  • 4 Cups of all-purpose flour
  • 1 Cup Salt
  • 3 Tablespoons Nutmeg
  • ¼ Cup Cinnamon
  • 2 Tablespoons Grounds Cloves
  • OPTIONAL: Beads, stones, decorations, or edible sprinkles if you have children under 3 who might eat them.

    Add water to the dry ingredients and stir until the dough is the consistency of softened modeling clay.

    Shape with hands or use cookie cutters choice. Place each piece on an non-greased pan or pan lined with parchment paper.

  3. Step 3

    Poke a hole in the top before baking if you plan on hanging the ornament. The resulting hole will be nearly half the size after baking.

    Add beads or simulated jewels for extra pizzazz, by pushing them gently into the dough.

  5. Step 5
    You can find affordable crafting supplies in most resale shops.

    Bake at 200 degrees for one hour.

Tips & Warnings
  • These ornaments may be left natural or painted with acrylic paints, and then sealed again with the varnish after drying.
  • We use Hearts for Valentines Day, Clovers for St. Patrick’s Day, Stars for a Patriotism theme, etc.
  • Look for the unordinary Cookie Cutters for even more great ideas. See our pictures.
  • Use these unpainted in your pets area.
  • If you choose to paint or varnish these, they will not be child safe under age of 3.
