If you wish to view all invisible files on a Mac computer, you would need a certain software. Here's what you can do with it.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Mac OS X
  • InVisibles software
  1. Step 1

    Download the InVisibles program.

  2. Step 2

    Install it and launch the program.

  3. Step 3

    You will be presented with the option to make all invisible files either visible or invisible again. Click on "Visible" to show all invisible items.

  4. Step 4

    Once you are done, click on "Invisible" to return all items back to their invisible state.

Tips & Warnings
  • You can redo this process multiple times to figure out where the file is hidden.
  • Make sure to choose "Visible" again so that you can view the file afterwards.
