Step 1
Visit your local library. If you don't have a card, register for one. Tell the librarian you would like to sign up for a Netlibrary account. She will direct you to a computer and the website. Use the computer to set up an account. It usually cannot be done outside the library.
-
Step 2
Visit the Netlibrary website, click "Create a free account" and enter the required information. Then click "Create account."
-
Step 3
Once you are finished, write down your username and password. Login to the website to verify your information.
-
Step 4
You should now be able to access the Netlibrary site with all of its features from any computer. You can use Basic or Advanced Search to find the items you are looking for.
-
Step 5
View or download the materials when you find them. This is especially helpful if you access your library online and you see "netlibrary only" listed for the resource you need. You can read an entire book on your computer at your own pace without due dates, deadlines or fees.
