How to Participate in Yahoo Answers

If you like interacting with other people on the Internet or want starting point, try Yahoo Answers. When you participate in Yahoo answers you can earn recognition while you help fellow online community members. When you participate in Yahoo answers it can also answer many of those questions you always wondered about but were afraid to ask. Read below for quick steps to get started on Yahoo Answers.

Things You'll Need:

• Computer
• Internet
• Yahoo Account

1. Click the link in the resources section to participate in Yahoo Answers. If you do not have a free Yahoo account, now would be a good time to sign up for one.

2. Login to Yahoo Answers with your regular Yahoo user name and password. Your Yahoo account will work throughout all Yahoo services, including Yahoo answers.

3. Click on Ask, Answer or Discover, as displayed towards the top of your computer screen once on the Yahoo Answers website. Browse and participate as you see fit.

4. Set up Yahoo answers to email you each time you get a response to a question you have asked once you participate. Or, the computer can also send email if one of your answers is picked as a "best of" answer in Yahoo. You can also participate by voting on answers already received to win best answer.

5. Use the search box or the categories in Yahoo Answers for specific topics. These displayed on the left hand side of your screen on Yahoo Answers. Note whether a topic is open or closed.
