There is a difference between dye for hair, and dye for eyebrows & eyelashes. If you find a salon that offers this service, make sure it is one by a liscensed cosmetologist. They will use precautions to protect your eyes. The dye is brushed on and left on for approximately 10 minutes, then wiped off. The color normally lasts between 4 - 6 weeks and gradually wears off.
It is best to pick a shade lighter than your haircolor to make it look natural. The cosmetologist has experience in this procedure and would be considered an excellent second opinion coach. Good Luck!

on 2/6/2008 If your hair is going to be dyed black, then your lashes and brows should be dark brown. Dark brown is much more natural than basic black.
