If your dog has been digging under the fence or digging up your flower garden, then you need an easy solution to this problem.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • shovel
  • 1/4-inch mesh or chicken wire
  • 1 bag of gravel or small rocks
  1. Step 1

Take the 1/4-inch mesh and place it in the hole or area the dog is digging.

  2. Step 2

Place a layer of the gravel over the mesh and cover the entire hole.

  3. Step 3

Cover the gravel with soil to make the ground level with the surrounding surface.

  4. Step 4

You can also place a potted tree or plant over the area if the dog still tries to dig.

Tips & Warnings
  • If you have a flower bed, try planting in a 2-foot wooden box and cover the top with 1/4-inch mesh.
  • If your dog digs under the fence, you may have to put mesh around the perimeter of your yard.
