Personalization takes an average gift up a notch. It shows the recipient of your gift that you put thought and effort into making his day a little brighter. If you don't have time to make the gift personal, make the wrapping paper personal! Create your own using Adobe Photoshop and your photos and creativity. Here's how.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderate

Things You’ll Need:

  • Adobe Photoshop
  • Computer
  • Internet access
  • Photos or images that relate to the gift recipient
  • Printer paper
Step1
Open Adobe Photoshop and create a blank document.
Step2
Locate the images you want to use for your gift wrap. You can do a photo collage of images of you and your friend, or you can think about the things your friend loves and is interested in and collect images from the Internet to use for your gift wrap. You can also do a combination of photos and other images. Open the files you want to use.
Step3
Select an image you want to use and crop as necessary. Using the selection tool, drag the image to the blank document. In the Edit drop-down menu, use the Free Resize command to resize your image. Use the Transform command to rotate your artwork.
Step4
Continue adding new images as described above. Rotate images in various ways to add interest to your paper.
Step5
When done, color print onto regular inkjet printing paper. Print as many sheets as you need to cover your package.
