How to choose a wedding cake baker/designer

Having a wedding? Need a cake? Need a baker? Here's how to choose!

1. Do some research online or at some local bakeries (Even walmart, meijer, sams club, costco etc).
   Get a quote with how many people you think your going to have to serve.
2. Call the different places/set up an appointment to meet with them. Most cake bakers that are doing this as a business will offer you to come to their business and have a cake tasting. They will usually offer you different kinds of cake with different fillings and maybe one or two icings.
3. Let this person know your budget, try the cake, if it's great work out a deal, if its not exactly what your heart desires, tell them you'll get back to them and continue on the search.

Tips & Warnings

• Be prepared to eat cake!
• Another good place to try cake would be a bridal show, lots of bakers come to showcase their cakes and let you try them there on the spot.
