There are many ways to pray and there is a right way to pray. When there is a certain desire that you need fulfilling, like finding a mate for yourself, all a person needs to do is ask. • Prayer shawl

1. Clear your head of whatever bothered you for that day.

2. Take the prayer shawl and drape it either across the shoulders as if you were going to wear it or on either of the shoulders folded.

3. Find a quiet place. Usually, this will be in your bedroom with everything closed and turned off.

4. Bending at both knees, cup both hands together as you place the elbows on the bed. This is called kneeling.

5. Affirm your spirit and acknowledge the presence of God.

6. Confess your sins and all that was done for that day.

7. Thank God for what he has done and what he is going to do.

8. Surrender yourself to God's will. Seek his face and submit to his love.

9. Talk to God as if you were talking to a friend or family member.

10. If it is a mate that you desire, ask God to show this mate to you.

11. Describe the kind of person you desire in your life in detail. God has a sense of humor.

12. Pray without ceasing.

13. Wait for your answer as you go on with your daily life.
