  • Polish
  • Towel
  • Soap
  1. Step 1

Do not use bleach depending on the color of the clothes. Use another fabric softener that will not damage the fabric.

  3. Step 3

Clean the uniform alone and not with other clothes.

  4. Step 4

Place the uniform into the washer in a position where it will not get caught on anything inside the washer.

  5. Step 5

Set the controls on the washer to delicate.

  6. Step 6

Once the cleaning is done, lay the uniform flat or hang out to dry.

  7. Step 7

For an extra added clean look, take the uniform to the cleaners to be pressed.

  8. Step 8

Wipe the shoes off with a damp towel and light soap.

  9. Step 9

Take the polish and press against the shoe in spots.

  10. Step 10

Once the shoe has the polish spots placed on the shoe, slide across the shoe for an even look or shine.

  11. Step 11

    Sit aside and let dry.

  12. Step 12

If the school band uniform comes with black shoes repeat Steps 8 through 11.

  13. Step 13

Use Vaseline for extra added shine.
