Every parent wants to find the best play group in their locality for their little one. Afterall, it is the first place where you child starts learning away from home.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Time
  1. Step 1

Collect as much information about all play groups in your locality. Find the nearest play group that best suits your need. Look for locality, play-group fees, cleanliness, educational standards etc.

  2. Step 2

Visit play-groups during play group hours. Pay a visit close to the end of play group hour. It would provide you with enough information.

  3. Step 3

Talk to the teacher and find all information on fees, uniform and things taught. Ask permission to have a view of the entire class and all other facilities. Inquire more about the play group with other parents waiting outside the play group.

  4. Step 4

If you are impressed with the play group, enroll your child. For first one or two days, be with your child during the play group hours. This is a great way to know every thing in greater detail. Look for minute details like how the teacher handles different situations and how cleanliness is maintained in the class.

Tips & Warnings
  • Train your child ahead to cope with the play group classes.
  • Ask the teacher for special help if the child is too small in age.
  • Pick your child soon after the play group. Wait for some time after leaving the child and reach few minutes before ending of play group hours. This will help you know whether your child is coping well or not.
