Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Things You’ll Need:
-
magazines with glossy pictures in them.
-
Cut out different words or letters. Like love, cute, sassy, sexy, fun,
-
glue stick
-
scissors
-
card stock /white or any color you desire
-
enevelopes to match
-
black,silver,or gold permanet markers
-
small jewel stickers (if desired)
Step1
Fold your card stock to desired size of card.
Look through magazines,Cosmos,Glamour, magazines like these are the best to use.Cut out glossy pictures or pieces of pink, purple, and red dresses, skirts, and or background colors. Don't forget to cut out colors of lipsticks, blush colors, and even hair colors anything and everything that has the colors of Valentines' Day.
Step2
Now take your glossy pictures you tore out or the magazines and cut them into different sizes of hearts. Small ones, large ones, and/or tiny ones.
Step3
With your glue stick put glue on the back of your hearts and just start placing them on your card. Don't confine yourself to placing them in any order, have fun with it. Just start glueing them all over, upside down, right side up every which way. Have FUN!!! Over lap them so there is no white card stock showing.
Step4
When your card is completely covered, I like to unfold them and at this point I put the card on a papertowel. With a ruler I take a black or silver permanent marker and make an edge all around the card. Frame your card. Your card is done. If you want you can put little sticker jewels on some of the hearts or add them to the border all around the card. This step is not necessary but can sometimes add alittle bling.
Step5
Your card is done and ready to write a message inside. Sometimes I will paint over the front of the card w/a water based varnish that is used for craft projects and can be found at any craft store. This will seal your card and add alittle more gloss to the surface of your Valentine card.
