Things You'll Need:
- A few non alcoholic drinks
- Snacks for the teens
- Camera
- Music (anything the kids are listening to)
-
Step 1
A pre-prom party doesn't last long, but it is better to be safe than sorry. Sometimes, kids tend to "pre-party" and drink alcohol before going out; this party may help prevent that. Look on www.foodtv.com for some great non-alcoholic cocktail recipes. Make a mock "bar" and have someone make the drinks.
-
Step 2
Make a few snacks before the kids head out in the limo, car or truck. They might be hungry and pre-prom usually starts about 5:00 p.m. That way, they are dressed and ready to go. Expect to have their friends over, so make sure your "bar" is well stocked.
-
Step 3
Play some hip music that the kids like to listen to. Check out the Billboard Top 100 Chart or ask your teen for his favorite CD's.
-
Step 4
Since pre-prom is usually when the embarrassing photos are taken, make sure to have enough food for the parents too.
-
Step 5
Get out your camera and snap lots of pictures. This is an important day and you want to capture every minute of it.
