Things You'll Need:
- Invitations
- Food
- Beverage
- A Good Sized t.v.
-
Step 1
So you wanna have some friends over for the "Big Game"? Alright no problem, it is alot easier than you think to pull off a party whether in plenty of time, or a short time span, you can do it with some easy to follow steps.
-
Step 2
First, you will want to get a good sized t.v. for the big day, no one wnats to watch the game on your little 20 inch television. Either plan ahead to purchase a big screen t.v., or there is always the option of renting one for the weekend, which is a big hit for some. No matter what way you decide, make sure you allow yourself plenty of time for this. You do not want to rush into a store and pick out the first set you come too, take time to price and compare. You want to get the best for your buck. If you do decide to rent, thats fine, just give enough time to make sure you can rent, as a lot of people are thinking the same thing as you.
-
Step 3
Once you have the t.v. it is time for the invites. You can do this one of two ways, either call or send a card. Dont be too wishy washy with it, get to the point, say what, where, and when. If you do not invite, dont expect people to just show up. You need to be prepared to reach out to friends and family to come over to watch.
-
Step 4
Next up is food. Food is important at an event like this. Obviously depending on where you call home, is going to depend on what kind of food you can come up with. In California, your going to probably be ok to do some grillingof hot dogs, hamburgers if you like. Whereas in say like Michigan, the popular thing is to order pizza, and have nachos around the house. No matter what you decide to serve, make sure there is enough for everyone with extra to spare. Usually people really like to chow down in the midst of the big game.
-
Step 5
And last but not least is the drinks. If your having all adults, then by all means, beer is the way to go with some pop and water on tap for those that might not want it. If there are kids, make it a kid friendly event with pop, and kool Aid. Again though, just like the food make sure there is enough for everyone with some to spare. Follow these simple guidelines, and you will be able to throw a killer Super Bowl Party like the Pro's
