Anti-Valentine's!
Anti-Valentine's!

Whether you have been single for a while or you are a new "table of one," Valentine's Day does not have to be a miserable occasion. Why not throw an Anti-Valentine's Day Party?

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Decorations for your theme (Black is a great Anti-Valentine's color)
  • Anything to entertain (magazines, music, face masks and pedicure sets with toenail polish to pamper yourself)
  • Your favorite snacks
  1. Step 1

This really isn't hard. All you have to do is think of things that aren't Valentine's. Stay away from hearts, roses and love.

  2. Step 2

Come up with a theme. If you are newly broken up, try a "love hurts" theme. Black candles, broken heart cutouts and books that help with breakups that might be fun to read. Do not rent love story movies. This would be under the love category and tonight is anything but love and hearts.

  3. Step 3

Don't spend too much time sulking. Try buying girly things to entertain you. Girlie Magazines, pedicure sets, ice cream and chocolate chip cookies are great.

  4. Step 4

Invite some single girls over for a great time. Try not to talk about love. Just have fun and enjoy the night!
