Things You'll Need:
- computer
- internet
- Myspace.com account
- patience
- time
- dedication
-
Step 1
Log on to your computer and log onto the internet. Go to the url: "www.Myspace.com" and set up a user account.
-
Step 2
To begin setting up your profile start by going to "edit profile" and in-putting as little or as much information that you want about yourself to be seen by others.
-
Step 3
Now, you want to set up a personalized background, right? You have two choices: either download one of the many programs and use up more memory, or go to my favorite website (for free without downloading any program). That website is: "www.Pimpmyprofile.com".
-
Step 4
(Make sure you open up another tab to go to this website, otherwise you will have to go back to Myspace.com)
-
Step 5
Next, the easiest way for a new-comer to set up their myspace layout is to do so with "coded" backgrounds. To someone who has never seen these before, they are just a long sentence or paragraph of codes (that don't make sense)-- they're there as a texted picture form. Take a look at all the fabulous background selection, and when you find the one you want, tab back to your Myspace.com profile.
-
Step 6
(Under your "home" page), go to "edit profile" where you wrote about yourself earlier. Keep that page up, but tab back to Pimpmyprofile.com. There will be a couple of options to use the picture or background. Choose the "coded" option.
-
Step 7
Now, with your cursor, blue highlight this code and drag down to COPY, and tab back to your Myspace page. Go to where it says "About me" in your "edit profile" page and right-click and drag down to PASTE. Where it says "About me", in the box, there should now be that same background coding.
-
Step 8
Make sure to SAVE CHANGES! Now, go to "view my profile".
