How to create your own Myspace page

Ever wonder how people insert pictures or have backgrounds on their myspace??

Things You'll Need:

• computer

• Myspace.com account
• internet

1. Log on to the internet, go to the url: www.Myspace.com and create your own user account.

2. You can use Myspace's "edit profile" to create your profile and customize your page color, or you can create a background of your choice by finding a free layout/background page such as "www.Pimpmyprofile.com". Another option is to download a program that has backgrounds/layouts and pics available for you to use.

3. I recommend "Pimpmyprofile.com" from backgrounds and "Photobucket.com" for a wide variety of pics and photos.

4. Using "Pimpmyprofile.com", the easiest way to add a background is to use the "coded" or "coding" layouts. What that is is a long code that you copy and paste to your profile.

5. To do this, go to "edit profile", go to "about me" and copy/paste the code you chose (your favorite background). Press "Save" in your "edit profile".

6. To add pictures or photos to your page, go to "Photobucket.com" (create a profile account) and highlight the photo you want (blue highlighting with your cursor) and right click. Drag down to "Save Picture As..." and save in a folder that you create to upload to your myspace.

7. You can upload your pictures from your "Pictures" folder on your computer. Follow Myspace's upload prompts.

Tips & Warnings

• It's hard at first, and kina frustrating, but once you learn, you will get the hang of it.
• Trying this the first time will make you want to break your computer. This is very time-occupying.
