Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Things You’ll Need:
- Motorola Cellular Phone
- USB Cable
- Motorola Phone Tools Software
- Music already on your computer
Step1
Connect your Motorola phone to your USB cable. If you have a music phone, such as the slvr, let it synchronize with i-tunes. After synchronization is complete, open up Motorola Phone Tools.
Step2
Multimedia Studio
Once Motorola Phone Tools is opened up and is connected with your phone, click on the multimedia studio button. Once the multimedia studio page is open, choose melody studio.
Step3
Once the melodu studio is open, you will see 5 tabs on the top of the screen that say samples, my melodies, my pc, my cd, and my phone. You will most likely be choosing from my pc. Browse through your computer for the song that you want to use.
Step4
The song will show up on the bottom of the screen. You will then want to crop the song so that you only have a small portion (whatever part of the song you want to be played as your ring tone.) You do this by take the red lines and bringing them to the beginning and end parts of what you want to play as your tone. You will see that the parts you do not want will look faded. You will see a green check mark, click that and it will crop the song so that only that part you want will be left.
Step5
After you have cropped the sone, you will want to just click transfer to phone. And that's it!
