  • Window cleaner
  • Spray bottle
  • Paper towels
  • Ground cinnamon or cinnamon sticks

Instructions

    • 1

      Fill the spray bottle with window cleaner.

    • 2

      Locate the ant trail.

    • 3

      Spray the ants with the window cleaner. Wait a few minutes.

    • 4

      Wipe the window cleaner and dead ants up with the paper towels. Discard the towels.

    • 5

      Sprinkle the area where the ants were with ground cinnamon or broken cinnamon sticks.

Tips & Warnings

  • Be sure to completely saturate the ant trail with the window cleaner

    We pour a good amount of salt to the ant colony & they disappear after a few days.

    Thankfully they don't come in our house but the population outside near our house is pretty bad. The will crawl right up your leg. Oh, and they bite! I will have to remember this for next spring. Thank you!!

    Yep, kills them dead, and the best part is they go back to the nest to die, so no little dead ants all over the house.
