How to Keep Cigars Moist

Humidors are a great way to keep cigars fresh and moist, but for the occasional smoker, a humidor is not a necessary item. Read on for a few simple steps that will keep cigars moist without the use of a humidor.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

• Cotton ball
• Favorite bottle of liquor
• Small bowl
• Box of cigars

1. Pour two tbsp. of liquor into the small bowl.
2. Place the cotton ball into the bowl. Wait a few seconds until the ball is completely saturated with alcohol.
3. Remove the cotton ball and place it in the box with the cigars.
4. Discard any leftover liquor and wash the bowl.

Tips & Warnings

• Use additional cotton balls and liquor as needed.
• Do not place the cotton ball directly on top of the cigars.
